Producer Tony Mark Joins SCSFe

Hollywood Vet Executive Produced "The Hurt Locker"

 

Santa Fe, NM - Larry N Stouffer, Executive Director of the Screenwriting Conference in Santa Fe (SCSFe), announced today that Tony Mark, the Executive Producer of the Academy Award-winning film "The Hurt Locker," will attend SCSFe this year.

Mr. Mark has worked on nearly 40 films during his prolific career and has also penned numerous screenplays for MGM, ABC, NBC, Showtime and the USA Network. Notable films produced by Mark include "The Fisher King," "The Mirror Has Two Faces" and the Emmy-nominated "Starring Pancho Villa as Himself." Most recently, he produced the Golden Globe-nominated biopic "Georgia O'Keefe," based on the life of the path-breaking artist.

 

At the SCSFe, Mark will sit on the producer's panel to discuss screenwriting from the perspective of a successful producer. He will also listen to pitches from writers as a part of the Hollywood Connection weekend at the conference.
